One of a series of animations telling imagined stories that came straight from some of the most imaginative kids on this planet. We worked with a number of kids to guide them through imagining and telling stories of a fantastical cruise. The results included amazing voice over and a story that practically animated itself.
The video has over a quarter million views on youtube and well exceeded rating benchmarks for Travel content on Facebook and Instagram social media.

Client: American Canoe Association
Canoes, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards were involved in 20% of all boating casualties when this PSA was made (U.S. Coast Guard 2013 Recreational Boating Statistics). In partnership with the American Canoe Association we created a video aimed at empowering kayakers and canoeists to take responsibility for their safety on the water.
The PSA is the most popular video the ACA has ever produced at over 40,000 views. Based on this video the ACA partnered with Jacob and Anzovin Studio to win a grant to produce another production animated survivor stories tolled by the survivors themselves.
The project went on to receive the following awards:
2015 Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour - First Place in Instructional Category
2014 Association TRENDS All-Media Contest - First Place in the PSA Category
2015 National Paddling Film Festival - First Place in Best Professional Safety/Instruction Category

So often 3d computer animation is a style rather than a medium. To stretch my technical and creative abilities I set out to develop an animation style that leverages modern tools while drawing upon the spontaneous anything goes methods of traditional techniques.
